Naked Yoga Camp, the crew behind Austin Naked Yoga, is heading to CYJ Retreat Center in Wimberley for its fall Big Gay Getaway, a clothing-optional weekend for gay men from Friday, Oct. 23, through Sunday, Oct. 25.
The schedule packs in more than 50 hours of workshops and events: yoga from beginner to advanced, sound baths, breath work, reiki, partner and tantric yoga, plus karaoke, dancing and bingo. The property has a huge pool, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball, disc golf and hiking trails. Clothes are optional everywhere except the dining hall and the gym.
Weekend tickets include every workshop, five meals and lodging. A bunkhouse bed or tent spot is $399, a day pass is $369, and rooms run $579 to $1,767 per person, with a few already sold out. Bunkhouse and tent guests bring their own bedding and towels; bunkhouse bedding can be rented for $39. It’s a men-only weekend, and the fall edition usually draws more than 100 guys. No experience required.
