Every Monday, Claws Out Comedy hosts an open mic at the 1851 Club, Arlington’s gay bar on West Division Street. Local comics and new material fill the room, and the bar runs $1 Jell-O shots for the night.
Sign-up is at 7:30 p.m. and jokes start at 8 p.m. The bar is open 4 p.m. to midnight on Mondays, with happy hour from 4 to 9 p.m.
