Space City Bears is Houston’s bear, cub, and leather social club, bringing together the husky and hairy corners of Houston’s LGBTQ+ community for more than two decades. The organization hosts regular social events, charity fundraisers, and Lone Star Throwdown — a major regional bear run that draws attendees from across Texas and beyond. Space City Bears also partners with local LGBTQ+ nonprofits to give back to the greater Houston community.
