https://aarcsa.com/Founded in 1990, the Alamo Area Resource Center (AARC) was established to support people living with HIV/AIDS and has since grown into one of San Antonio’s leading LGBTQ+ social service and health organizations.
Through their Health Equity Clinic, AARC offers a full spectrum of services including LGBTQ+ primary care, HIV specialty care, transgender health and gender-affirming care, PrEP/PEP, and free HIV and STI testing.
For those living with HIV, they also provide case management, behavioral health support, housing services, transportation assistance, and health insurance navigation. AARC is located at 303 N. Frio Street and is open Monday through Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM.
